In the early morning sun, light blazes against the ironwork of this high classical stoop with mixed Greek and Gothic elements. The handrail ends in a simple scroll in the same vertical plane as the rest of the railing. Long ago, large cast iron posts, possibly resting on brownstone pedestals, now missing, stood at the base of each railing.
