These railings are seen at the perfect moment, when neglect has caused a soft turquoise patina and spots of rust to appear. Left alone, the railings will eventually disappear through decay. In this case, this building is currently under renovation. Yet whether the iron is restored or replaced, the beauty of the ruin will in either case vanish from sight.
